Oaken brooch hand-made especially for the opening of exhibition "Congo River. Arts of Central Africa. From the Collection of the Musée du Quai Branly" in the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, a piece of "The Soul of Congo" Collection. Having chosen the mask as a typical pattern of cultural heritage of Africa, the designers created the unique collection of handmade pendants and brooches of various wood species based on the masks with faces in the form of hearts, which are still used in rituals combining music, dance and singing. Therefore, the masks are presented in three series – for each type of art, which the soul of Congo lives in. The brooch is made of wood and by means of laser engraving under the designs created by artists-jewelers specifically for MyKi Jewelry.
